Moving to Raylene

Those of you that have known Travis and me for quite sometime, know that we have always planned to open a venue. We had no idea how quickly this day would come, but we are so excited to be here. (Well, not just excited… of course, we’re nervous, worried, shocked, and suffer from a little disbelief.)

This road has not been an easy one; with the house on the property catching fire days before our move in date. Oh man, that was wild! Thankfully, the owners before us are some of the most caring people and made sure everything was handled.

We moved in on January 8th with the help of family members and Experienced Movers from Tallahassee. It was such an exhausting day! We were prepared to sleep on a mattress on the floor, however, everyone worked so hard, that only did we a bed made up for us, but for the kids as well. That’s such a huge thing to have after moving all day. I’m super thankful for moments like that.

We still have a ways to go before we will be unpacked in the house, and definitely, a ways to go before we will be hosting any events on the property. I’m okay with that, and I look hopefully to the day I throw out the last box and sign our first client for Raylene Reserve.
